Minster, author, teacher and conference speaker, Dr. Peggy Elliott is a woman of God, filled with the Holy Spirit and ministers to the whole person. In 1994 she founded The Balm of Gilead Ministries.  The new ministry name is Peggy Elliott Ministries. For thirty years, she was blessed to own her own international consulting firm, specializing in racial and cultural diversity training to Fortune 500 corporations. In a world where many are called, but few are chosen, Dr. Elliott is well prepared both spiritually and academically for her calling to the prayer, healing and deliverance and pro-life ministry.

     In 1994, she responded to the call to become the Prayer Pastor in St. Paul for a 7,000 member church. Elliott served as an advisor and speech writer to a former president of the United States in the area of race relations. She was a radio interviewer along with Alex Haley, the infamous director of the award winning movie Roots and she served on the Billy Graham Executive Committee and has participated in ministry areas of leadership with Ann Graham-Lotz, Luis Palau, The National Day of Prayer, and many other ministries. Dr. Elliott has been a missionary to South Africa, Argentina and Haiti.

She is blessed to be married to Mr. Kevin Elliott, and has two adult children, Corey and Tameka and two grandchildren, KiJana Monet and Zion Israel.

• We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides for the propitiation of our transgressions and iniquities. It also provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer. (Isaiah 53:5)

• We believe, in the supernatural ministry of the Holy Ghost, who bestows spiritual gifts to born again believers.
  (1 Corinthians 12:4)

• We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world.
  (1 Corinthians 6:9-11)
