2 Chronicles 7:14-New Revelation

July 19, 2016

Anyone who is a Believer can count the endless times you have read or heard 2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will hear their land." Why would God need to tell us to do these things? Aren't Believers already living and behaving in such a manner?  I have gleaned new revelation concerning the need for such demands. GOD SEES THE REBELLION OF THOSE WHO ARE CALLED BY HIS NAME.

Why do we need to humble ourselves?  Far too many Believers operate out of a prideful spirit. Rebellion is the flagship behavior of pride. 1 Samuel 15:23 tells us that rebellion is as of witchcraft.  Could it be that some of His very own are practicing Christian witchcraft?

Why do we need to be told to pray?  Because prayer has become insignificant to many who call themselves followers of Christ.  Why do we need to be told to seek the face of God?  Because we have put a number of idols before Him. Instead of worshiping God,instead of spending time praying and seeking His face, far too many Believers worship watching TV, being on the internet, socializing, shopping or even enjoying food too much by overeating.(Yes, I said and I am one of those who has idolized food.  I'll share more about this later.) God has become insignificant to far too many Believers, taking second place to man-made enjoyments.

Why would God need to tell us to turn from our wicked ways?  Because the world can no longer tell the difference between those who call themselves Christians and those who do not.  Some behaviors of Believers is consciously wicked, such as bearing false witness, or taking revenge against someone who has caused an offense.

Church, until we do what God commands, He will not hear our prayers, nor will He forgive our sins.  He will not heal our land.  We will continue to live under 2 Corinthians 7:13, "(God) will shut up the heavens so there is no rain (blessings. My word). What part do you need to play in God healing our land?  Let's get our lives straightened out before we continue to loose more innocent lives.
